Shannon graduated from Georgian College Massage Therapy program in September 2012 with honours and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Shannon joined the Back to Balance team in March 2013. During her time at Georgian, Shannon participated in the massage therapy clinic where she treated numerous musculoskeletal issues and was able to mould her hands-on techniques, assessment and problem solving skills. Shannon is excited to take everything she has learned and apply it to her everyday practice. Through her training, she will customize each client’s treatment based on their needs and goals. Her quest is to not only to help in the treatment of injury or chronic pain but also participate in the prevention of muscular imbalances in an effort to maintain lifelong mobility and health in her clients. Shannon plans to continue her education so she can evolve and give her clients the best possible care.
